Let's assume I've done it all correctly and someone is actually reading this. I've thought about doing this for a while if for no other reason then just to see what all the hub-bub is about regarding blogging - seems like everyone is doing it and I want to play too! However, I haven't had anything to say that was so important that the whole world would care enough to read it. So a couple years passed.
Now we're about to start the roller coaster that is the adoption process. What a perfect time to start a blog.
Some things I'm hoping to figure out about this blogging thing:
- How easy is it for everyone to find this?
- Is there a way to find out stats like how many people have visited?
- How do I increase my SEO?
- How user friendly is Blogger and would Wordpress better suit my needs?

Hmmm...
On second thought, maybe I should change my intentions for this blog. Instead of thinking of it as a way of broadcasting my opinion about which people probably couldn't care less about it, I'll look at this as a sort of journal. I'll mostly focus each step of our adoption process. Maybe it'll be something I'd like to look back on in the future - so many thoughts and feelings can blur together during all the ups and downs to come from adopting a child.
I hope the rest of the blog isn't as mindnumbing as this entry.
